Suffering lost confidence in horse riding often comes as a consequence of your subconscious invasively reminding you that of the negative events that could happen. Rehabilitating riders back to a place of confidence is about re-training the formulated habits, sequences and functioning of their brain - the aspects responsible for acting without thinking. 

 

Rider psychology is the process of retraining your subconscious state of mind to no longer hinder your ability in the saddle. Coaching 4 Confidence utilises the following to distinctly re-programme your mind, enabling you to excel in your riding levels and feel

more confident.

1. Through teaching individuals how the brain works, dismiss any intrusive thoughts they might have that they’re just unmotivated, overreacting, or silly.

2. By providing simple but effective exercises to work to re-wire habitual reactions to the aspects of riding horses that individuals are cautious of.

3. Emphasising accountability. Consistency is imperative when undertaking rider psychology coaching; therefore, participants ought to be accountable. Alex will regularly check in with clients and ensure they continue progressing even after their session.
